Fall Pumpkin Festivals Span US Cities

Several communities are preparing pumpkin-themed fall celebrations, including Pittsburgh’s Monster Pumpkin Festival, which features giant pumpkins, aerial pumpkin drops, carving demonstrations and family activities. Ohio’s Circleville Pumpkin Show, scheduled for Oct. 21–24 with a preview night Oct. 20, offers free general admission alongside parades, agricultural displays and entertainment, while rides, food and other attractions may cost extra. Athens’ rescheduled Pumpkintown festival will bring street closures from Oct. 23 to 24, with detours and traffic delays expected. A Pumpkinpalooza-themed fall festival is also announced for downtown Massena, though the available report provides no further details.
