Reports: Diddy Treated for Prison Head Injury
Sean "Diddy" Combs was taken by ambulance from FCI Fort Dix, New Jersey, around 1 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2026, for a head injury, media reports citing prison sources said. He returned before sunrise conscious and speaking; the injury was not life-threatening. How he was injured has not been reported; Daily Mail cited a fall and gulfnews.com an apparent fall. An NBC News investigation shortly beforehand alleged he spends thousands monthly on unauthorized perks including a mobile phone, jailbroken tablet, premium liquor, and Remeron bought from inmates. "This is not some normal s— you see in jail. This is some rich s—," one of four people who spoke with NBC News said. A Combs spokesperson said the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news and that "The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal." The Bureau of Prisons declined comment on individuals’ confinement and said inmates may not have cellphones and face sanctions for violations. Combs, 56, is serving 50 months after July 2025 convictions on two prostitution-transportation counts and acquittal of racketeering and sex-trafficking; release is set for February 5, 2028. The injury cause remains unconfirmed.
