Warner Bros. Moves Gremlins 3 and Dynamic Duo Release Dates to 2028

Warner Bros. postponed its untitled third Gremlins film from Nov. 19, 2027, to Oct. 6, 2028, and moved Dynamic Duo from June 30, 2028, to Sept. 22, 2028. The studio also unveiled a teaser showing a Gremlin in a backpack saying "Uh-oh." Chris Columbus, who wrote the 1984 original, is writing, directing and producing the new film, with Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer and Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein co-writing. Gremlins 2: The New Batch was released in 1990. The new film's title, plot and cast remain undisclosed. Dynamic Duo centers on Dick Grayson and Jason Todd as former Robins. It combines CG animation, stop-motion and puppetry and is produced by Matt Reeves and James Gunn. Marvel's competing animated film is dated June 18, 2027. CONTESTED: none found.
