Eglin Airman Found Dead in Burned Car

Senior Airman Tamera Moniq Bolden-Cleckley, 26, of Boerne, Texas, was found dead in a burned car on Sept. 23 at Range Road 234 and Lewis Turner Blvd on the Eglin Test and Training Range Complex near Destin, Florida. An Eglin employee found the vehicle during a morning patrol and notified law enforcement. Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and 96th Security Forces responded, then handed the scene to AFOSI. The Air Force Medical Examiner positively identified her body on Sept. 26. She joined the Air Force in 2021 as a diagnostic imaging specialist with the 96th Surgical Operations Squadron. Col. Chris Keithley called her a valued 96th Test Wing member and offered deepest condolences to family, friends, and fellow Airmen. Col. Daniel Micsunescu said it was with a heavy heart he shared the loss of one of their teammates. Jalen FourLs and Maddie Nichols described her spirit as beautiful and said she was a bright person who will forever be missed. CONTESTED: none found among rated outlets.
