Chilli Says T-Boz Recovering From Sickle Cell Crisis

TLC’s T-Boz is recovering from a sickle cell crisis that led to her hospitalization and absence from several “It’s Iconic” tour performances. At an Oct. 9 show in Las Vegas, Chilli told fans that her bandmate needs time to recover and said she would continue performing while asking the audience to support T-Boz. TLC’s manager said her recovery could take days or weeks and that she would return only when fully recovered and medically cleared; no return date was announced. T-Boz has lived with sickle cell disease since childhood and has spoken publicly about its effects on her life and career.
