Cancer tops physician AI queries in nine countries

Cancer remains a major health challenge, even as targeted therapies, immunotherapy, genomic testing and other advances reshape diagnosis and treatment. Clinicians are increasingly turning to AI for help navigating oncology’s complexity, while a new NIH PRIMED-AI program will fund independent, standardized validation of AI models for precision medicine before clinical use. Separately, the NCCN and Chinese oncology experts adapted head-and-neck cancer guidelines for nasopharyngeal cancer to reflect local clinical practices and resources, aiming to make recommendations useful across varied care settings in China.
