Big Brother Star Amber Siyavus Dies at 46

Amber Siyavus, who competed on the eighth season of CBS’s “Big Brother” in 2007, has died at 46. Records from Nevada’s Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner say she died Friday, Oct. 9, and list the cause and manner of death as pending. Siyavus finished seventh and was remembered for her emotional moments on the show, which earned her the nickname “Whamber.” She also spoke on the program about being a single mother; her daughter, Lexi Tomcavage, died in 2018 at age 18 in a death investigated as an apparent suicide.
