Beta Bionics Prices $150 Million Stock Offering
Beta Bionics priced a $150 million offering on September 15, 2026, one day after the FDA cleared its Mint patch pump. It offered 7,652,175 common shares at $17.25 and pre-funded warrants for 1,043,484 shares at $17.2499, with a $0.0001 exercise price. Gross proceeds are expected at $150 million before expenses, with closing on or about September 17. Underwriters have a 30-day option for up to 1,304,348 more shares. Joint book-runners are J.P. Morgan, Piper Sandler, Wells Fargo Securities, and Leerink Partners. FDA clearance of Mint and the 3D Intelligence algorithm came on September 14. Commercialization is expected in the first quarter of 2027, with capacity for at least 1.5 million disposable units that year. The same announcement cut 2026 revenue guidance to $121 million to $126 million. Cash and investments stood at $225.2 million as of June 30, 2026. Second-quarter net sales were $32.0 million, up about 38 percent year over year. Proceeds may fund Mint commercialization, manufacturing expansion, research and development, strategic opportunities, and working capital. The IPO about 20 months earlier priced at $17.00 a share. Mark Hopman, Sean Saint, Stephen Feider, Mike Mensinger, Steven Jon Russell, Christy Jones, and Adam Lezack recorded open-market sales and no purchases over the prior six months.
