Arts Venues, Shops Expand Across US Cities
Several new and evolving spaces are giving artists and creative-minded shoppers fresh ways to engage with art and making. In Scottsdale, artist David Moquay’s exhibition at de Sarthe Gallery uses NASA imagery, LiDAR scans and projections to create an immersive environment, with plans to incorporate more scenes from Arizona. San Francisco nonprofit SCRAP has opened a much larger creative-reuse depot, expanding space for donated craft materials, workshops and community arts groups. In downtown Phoenix, Just Blaze’s new Roosevelt Row shop combines street-art supplies, tattoo products, streetwear and custom-designed collectibles, while a Finch + Fennel pop-up invites visitors to browse entertaining goods and sample foods with artisan cheeses and charcuterie.
