Artisan Markets Bring Makers to Communities

Several community markets and festivals are pairing handmade goods with local entertainment and civic or charitable support. Knutsford’s October 4 makers market will feature independent artisans, food, live entertainment and children’s activities. Madison Street Festival’s Crafter’s Cove will bring together 60 artisans, while Abilene’s October 24 Sonflower craft fair will host more than 70 vendors and raise money for local church ministries. Syracuse’s Westcott cultural fair also featured artisan booths alongside music and dance performances.
