AEVEX Faces Suit Over Alleged IPO Lockup Misstatements

Investors have filed a securities class action against AEVEX Corp. over shares bought in its April 2026 IPO or between April 17 and June 4, 2026. The complaint alleges the company and certain executives misled investors by presenting a 180-day lock-up as preventing controlling shareholder Madison from selling shares before October 13, while concealing a plan with underwriters to end the restriction early and permit a secondary offering. The suit claims Madison and the underwriters stood to gain more than $200 million and over $8 million in fees, respectively; these are allegations, not established findings. AEVEX shares fell sharply in early June, and one report puts the combined loss in market value at about $900 million. Investors seeking to serve as lead plaintiff generally must apply by October 20, 2026.
