Accelsius Upgrades Austin Lab for Multi-Megawatt AI Cooling
Accelsius upgraded its Austin lab to multi-megawatt power capacity, enabling full-scale testing of its two-phase, direct-to-chip NeuCool cooling systems at the high rack densities and warm facility-water temperatures expected in next-generation AI data centers. The facility can test a single rack at megawatt-plus loads or multiple racks at current high-density levels, and Accelsius plans to add 18,000 square feet of leased space in January 2027. The company is also expanding its NeuCool multi-rack product line with a 375-kilowatt-capable unit and says hyperscale customers are participating in its program to validate the technology. Accelsius cited independent benchmarks showing lower NVIDIA B200 temperatures than single-phase cooling in warm-water testing, though the results were reported by the company and its coverage.
