Missouri Supreme Court judge swears in 33 new state troopers
Thirty-three recruits graduated from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 126th Recruit Class after completing 25 weeks of training at the Law Enforcement Academy. They took the oath administered by Missouri Supreme Court Judge Robin Ransom, heard a keynote address from Gov. Mike Kehoe and are scheduled to report to their assigned troops Nov. 2. Graduates will serve across the state, including in Southeast Missouri and counties such as Nodaway, Worth, Linn, Chariton, Putnam, Sullivan, Daviess and DeKalb. Trooper Scott G. Sankey received the Superintendent’s Award for the class’s highest overall performance.
