20-Year-Old Kokomo Woman Ejected and Killed in Howard County Crash
Hope Justice Jones, a 20-year-old Kokomo woman, died after being ejected from a Honda Civic in a single-vehicle crash early Oct. 11 on County Road 1350 East in Howard County, Indiana. The car left the road, crossed a ditch, struck a utility pole and a utility box, and came to rest in a field. The 21-year-old driver told deputies an animal entered the road and he lost control while responding; investigators have not confirmed that account as the cause. The driver’s preliminary breath test showed no alcohol, and a blood test was pending.
