SK Hynix plans memory chip factory in Miyagi — Aug 19, 2026SK Hynix is pursuing a memory chip fab in Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan, with talks of an investment in the tens of trillions of won and a plan that would mark its first large-scale overseas production base in Japan, amid a visit by chairman Chey Tae-won.
