At the same time, Mitsubishi is recalling about 67,000 Outlander and Outlander PHEV crossovers in the US and Canada for an infotainment software bug that can prevent the rearview camera image, with dealers reprogramming units and official owner notices planned in 2026.

PLD Space extends Series C by €108 million to fund Miura 5 launch prep

PLD Space has extended its Series C by another €108 million to €288 million, lifting total funding to about €488 million to accelerate the Miura 5’s industrialisation and transition to commercial operations with new investors including Mitsubishi Electric, Endeavor Catalyst and SOPEF. The company, which also won an ESA €158.9 million award, aims to launch its Miura 5 from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou by 2026.
