A masked Black male, roughly 16 to 20 years old and about 5'8", wearing a Chucky-style Halloween mask, threatened and chased pedestrians around City Hall on the morning of Aug. 12, including asking one jogger if she was ready to die, with incidents spanning several blocks and a Dunkin’ Donuts encounter captured on surveillance. Police say no weapons were seen, at least one person injured a leg during the chase, and investigators are probing social-media angles while continuing to search for the suspect as multiple victims have yet to come forward.
