BYU Medical School Gains Preliminary Accreditation for 2027 Launch — 3dBrigham Young University’s School of Medicine received preliminary accreditation, allowing it to recruit its inaugural class and begin an MD program in July 2027. The school expects to welcome about 60 students, with applications opening in the coming weeks, and will initially operate at the former Provo High School site while a permanent building is planned.
