South Carolina Influencer Arrested on Six Child-Sex Charges

South Carolina influencer Carson Dean Barry, 23, was arrested on September 10 on five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of criminal solicitation of a minor after investigators followed a CyberTipline lead from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, with a video of a young girl being sexually assaulted found on his devices. He has hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram, was released on a $1 million bond, and faces up to 60 years in prison if convicted.
