Tyler and Beth Nichols knew in their hearts that they wanted to adopt a group of siblings. However, they never dreamed that they would be adopting five kids. In this touching video called, "The Nichols Adoption Story: From 5 Kids to 1 Family," the Texas couple describes their amazing journey.
When the Nichols thought about adoption, it was very important to them that they found siblings. The reason being had to do with Tyler's Grandfather. As it turns out, when he was just a little boy - he and his 6 siblings had been put into separate foster homes. For many decades, his Grandfather struggled with the loss of his brothers and sisters - until there finally came a day that they were reunited again. After hearing of his Grandfather's past, the couple decided that they wanted to help keep a group of siblings together.
One day, they were informed by the adoption agency that there were siblings in South America looking for a new home. But, to the couple's surprise, it was a group of 5. The Nichols decided to adopt the children, and discovered the oldest daughter played the role of mother in the family. She was only six years old at the time – what a burden for one so young!
