Biker Group Takes A Stand Against Child Abuse
Kathleen Shipman 3/15/2016
This motorcycle group is proof that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. After all, even though they have a tough exterior - the members of B.A.C.A. all have big hearts inside. Watch to learn how this group bands together to fight against the abuse of children.
The acronym B.A.C.A. stands for Bikers Against Child Abuse. Their mission statement explains that..."Bikers Against Child Abuse International (B.A.C.A.) exists with the intent to create a safer environment for abused children. They exist as a body of Bikers to empower children to not feel afraid of the world in which they live..."
In the video, we have a chance to learn more about the organization when members of the group visit the program "Emotional Mojo." It's incredible to listen to the men, who are all dressed in their motorcycle gear. One example of what they do is go to court with children in order to help make them feel safe. They also provide the abused child with a teddy bear, which has been hugged by the members of B.A.C.A. (and filled with courage and love)...
