Mom's Beehive Hairdo Gets A Modern Update
Holly Reyes 2/26/2016
Joan's daughters Cindy and Christine decided that she needs a new hairdo since it's been in the "beehive" for years and years. Waking up at 5:30 every Wednesday, Joan began her styling for the week. Taking a total of four hours, Joan would finally complete her hair which took the long process of removing 12 hairpins, brushing out the previous teasing, washing it, set it in rollers of all different sizes, and sitting under a dryer for about an hour. Once the drying was complete, she would then do the process all over by brushing, teasing, and spraying her hair which would result in rolling it up in the beehive until next week.
Oprah and her professional stylists enjoyed giving her an updated look which made her look like a completely new, confident woman. Not even Oprah had seen her new look, so she, Joan's daughters, and the entire audience waited for Joan to come out and reveal her modern look. She walked out with a radiant smile on her face which spoke volume.
Not only was her hair in a new style, but blonde and beautiful. Trying out a new look can be fun, and sometimes like in this case, life-changing.
