She Renovates A Hunting Cabin Into A Quiet Getaway

Since men have their "man caves," the women need a place to escape, too! That's why Sandy Foster decided to remodel an old hunting cabin into a chic "she shed." Sandy uses the shed to relax, unwind and express her interest in vintage interior design!
The shed is located deep within the Catskills Mountains in New York. This enormous mountain range covers over 5,000 square acres of land and has hundreds of rivers, streams, paths to explore around and even a waterfall within hiking distance! The vast wilderness means that Sandy can really get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and take some time to get in touch with nature.
Sandy got the idea to renovate the cabin after moving into the main house on the property with her husband, Todd, in 2007. The hunting cabin was disheveled and far from ideal, but she had a vision. With tools in hand, salvaged wood and materials from local yard sales and a relentless drive to transform the old shack, Sandy got to work! Men may have their "man caves," but Sandy's "she shed" is what any lady would love!
