Hospice Worker Serenades Woman With Voice She Trained

You have to be an incredible person to pursue a career in hospice. Strength of character is something that's needed above all else in hospice workers, and Josh Woodard is a shining example of that!
Josh spends hours every day looking after his patient and, coincidentally, former voice coach, Mary. When he was just nine years old, Mary taught Josh how to sing and play the piano. So on the days where Mary is in need of an extra pick-me-up, Josh serenades her with a variety of Biblical hymns, including the version of “How Great Thou Art” captured here!
“Hospice workers are angels but this hospice aide is special,” Mary's daughter-in-law, Marti Adkins Redmond, wrote on her Facebook page. “Mary taught voice and piano in her day and this aide Joshua Woodard was one of her students as a kid. [What] special people hospice workers are!” She's absolutely right! Hospice workers are the kind souls who guide and care for our mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters on their final days. That's why people like Josh mean so much to the rest of the world!
