With just 20 Oreos, Brandi Milloy makes an amazing treat any Oreo-lover would enjoy. After a lot of experimenting, she and her team figured out the perfect recipe. She is now sharing with the world this wonderful dessert.
Brandi loves Oreos, so she was very excited to try making Oreo churros. She starts out separating the cookies from the cream. The cookies go into a food processor to be crumbled up until they get to a sandy texture. Water, butter, brown sugar, and salt get boiled together. Flour, some of the Oreo crumbles, and cinnamon get mixed together then the liquid mixture gets poured in and incorporated. Finally, eggs and vanilla are added for the completed dough.
With heavy whipping cream and the icing from the Oreos, she creates the icing, and after that the "dust" to go on the fried churros with the rest of the Oreo crumbles and some sugar. The delectable dessert is ready to go after the dough is fried and covered in the crumbles. It looks so yummy, especially with the dip!
