Born in Oregon in 1906, Flossie Dickey just turned 110 years old and was honored with a special birthday celebration. With a mug full of hot coffee, she sat comfortably in her chair and shared a little about her life. This monumental birthday wasn't quite as exciting to her as it was to her family who were all coming later to help her celebrate, but she at least shared her honest feelings about it. She confessed plainly that her favorite thing to do is nap. Being 110 years old, no one could blame her when she said that she is tired and would rather nap.
She was gifted with an arrangement of her favorite colors of flowers, pink and purple, but they didn't amuse her very much. The main thing was that a nap was coming shortly after her interview. After a few quick words, she was asked one very important thing.
"What is the key to live that long," wondered all the people on television. She shared, "I don't know. I don't fight it. I live it." There is no particular food or secret than just to live life. What an amazing woman who we are all thankful to learn from.
