Why You Need Tape After Going To The Dentist

Bart hid himself under the covers after a long day at the dentist with pain medications still in full affect. After the long procedure, his wife checked on him and learned of his major concerns. The anesthesia put up a shield in his mind which blocked out all sense of reality, and leading him to think that he needed to keep a roll of tape with him at all times. You would never guess his reason why.
His wife, holding back the laughter, kept her cool when asking him questions that would allow him to share his reason. Bart's tone of voice revealed the concerns that was building up inside as he confessed, "If my head falls off." His loving wife urged him to realize that his head was not going to fall off.
Though most people would crack up right there on the spot, she continued to comfort him in his distress. She even let him keep his tape right there with him. All of her gracious words bounced right back. For the remainder of his pain medication working in his system, he kept that tape right there with him - just in case.
