How To Soften Butter Completely Hassle-Free

One Pot Chef is ready to help solve that one common problem we all encounter while baking, and it's so simple. The scenario we all have come across one time or another is when we're ready to bake a delicious dessert, and ingredients are added in one by one until it's time to add in the soft, melted butter, but it's still sitting in the fridge and nowhere near soft.
The oven is already preheated, so you don't want to sit around waiting for the butter to soften on its own. So, he shows us exactly what to do. He places the amount of butter the recipe calls for on a small plate, and fills up a glass with warm water, and lets it sit for about a minute.
Once he dumped out the water and dried out the glass, he encased the butter with the warm glass, and let it sit for only about a minute. This quickly, and easily warmed the butter without having to use the microwave. With his soft butter, he's ready to add it in the mixture. It only took a matter of minutes, and was completely hassle free.
