Dog Versus Toy

Plato the Airedale Terrier received a new toy, a little chipmunk. Unsure of it, he barks loudly, then watches intently as it responds.
Chippy the Chattermunk is a toy normally for children. It records and repeats what they say, in a higher-pitched voice for their amusement. However, it can also end up in a hilarious situation when presented to a dog, and provide enjoyment for everyone else watching.
Unknowingly, Plato argues with himself, though he thinks he is conversing with the chipmunk toy. He seems very entertained by his new little friend, slowly making his way toward it, until he decides to just lay down next to it. Happily, he nudges it a bit, maybe wondering why the chipmunk is talking back so much when he’s clearly the better barker. His owner even encourages Plato to keep “talking” to the chipmunk, and perhaps the dog thinks the toy is being rude only repeating what he’s saying. But by the end, things have calmed down between the two, and perhaps they are the way to becoming good friends.
