10 Uses For Coconut Oil
Megan Mayer 1/28/2016
Coconut oil can be an important staple to have in any room of the house. From the bathroom to the kitchen, coconut oil can be there to help.
She starts using coconut oil first thing in the morning, taking a tablespoon and adding a couple drops of essential oil. Then she swishes it around for about 20 minutes, as she does other things like checking her e-mail or making breakfast. While not a replacement for brushing and flossing, it can help the mouth to feel fresher throughout the day. Another great use is to create a mixture of the oil and sea salt which she then uses as a scrub. Afterward she soaks in the tub and comes out with nice, soft skin.
Among the other uses, she might mix a little of the oil with conditioner and rub it into the ends of her hair to leave in. If the ends of a person’s hair are prone to drying out, this can help a lot, but don’t put too much. Out of the bathroom and into the kitchen, coconut oil can be used a lot in here. One example is adding a teaspoon into coffee for a nice added flavor. There are even more great suggestions in her video, such as mixing coconut oil with baking soda to get off sticker gunk. Coconut oil can truly accomplish a lot for everyone.
