Learn How To Make A Long-Lasting Fire From One Log

Winter months are perfect for a big bonfire with all of your friends and family gathered around. But this YouTuber shows us that you don't need a million logs to have an awesome fire - you just need to know how to make a "Swedish Torch."
A "Swedish Torch" is a lasting fire log that you can use to keep warm for hours. To make this you'll need one log, a chainsaw and some kindling (small, dry branches and sticks). Use the chainsaw to cut two slices into the wood, each about three-quarters of the way through the log. Now the log should have four sections on one end!
Place kindling inside of the slits and light them on fire. Soon the small sticks will cause the entire log to burn from the top-down. The best part is that it will burn slowly, giving time for the other wood in the bonfire to catch. You can even use this "Swedish Torch" by itself and cozy up next to your own personal bonfire. This log will put out a surprising amount of heat, so get your chocolate and marshmallows ready!
