Hairstylists Provide Free Haircuts To Community's Homeless

A group of hairstylists in Ogden gave back to their community by offering free haircuts to the homeless. By doing so, they helped those in need gain confidence, respect, and also have a Merry Christmas.
The holiday season is all about spreading kindness to others. This is why hairstylist Mandie Barnes developed a project that would help those who needed the most assistance in her community - the homeless. She planned a day where she and other stylists would provide free haircuts, food, and other special items to help make their holiday season a little brighter.
Mandi's event took place one Saturday at the Ogden Rescue Mission. Not only did other stylists volunteer their time, but local businesses also made contributions to help the homeless. All of the men and women who came that day were very appreciative to have their hair cut. In the video, many of them said that a haircut helped them develop confidence, and simply feel like a human again. At the end of the day, all of those who volunteered helped spread joy and kindness around their community, which truly is what Christmas is all about!
