Chris and Brevin noticed this younger boy being bullied at school. So, they made a plan. They came alongside the young bullied kids and invited them to sit at their table for lunch.
They purposefully made friends with the younger kids so that the bullies would see them and quit making fun of the younger kids. Their plan was working well, especially for one little boy who was bullied so bad that every morning before he went to school, he got sick in fear of being bullied again. Chris had a deep compassion for the young boy remembering how he himself was bullied when he was younger. Chris shared, "I remembered how I felt when I was getting bullied. It just fired me up. I wanted to change that right then and there."
Changing things is exactly what he did when he and his buddy Brevin went out of their way to make a difference by putting an end to bullying, and creating a program called "Eagle Buddies" which pairs High School athletes with the bullied kids by looking out for them and spending time with them to build their confidence.
