Logan Kettle's father was killed in combat when he was just 15-months-old. Now at the age of nine, his uncle wants to surprise him with a gift to help remember his dad by - a replica of his uniform jacket.
Jeff Kettle was a Green Beret fighting in Afghanistan. Then one day his family received the devastating news that he had lost his life in combat. He left behind his wife, and also his toddler son named Logan. Since then, the boy's uncle Clay (Jeff's brother) has helped Logan learn about his father - who unfortunately never had a chance to really get to know him.
As Logan has come to discover more and more about his dad, one thing he wished he had was his uniform jacket, which went missing after his death. Uncle Clay decided that if he couldn't find the jacket for Logan, he would instead have it recreated. Clay spent a great deal of time and effort piecing the jacket together so that it would look just like his brother's. Eventually when it was completed, he presented it to Logan. The nine-year-old was emotional wearing the jacket as he thought about his father and his major sacrifice. Be sure to watch the video to see the little boy's heartfelt reaction!
