A perfect marriage isn't actually ever perfect. It's just one where both people never give up. One woman came to a conclusion on marriage and her solution is to do your husband's laundry.
The Blunt Blonde
Jonna Miller runs her own blog, The Blunt Blonde. Her blog chronicles her journey as a wife and mother, in her early 20s. She discusses the trials and tribulations of one of the hardest jobs in the world, being a stay at home mom. Most recently, she published "If You Have a Working Husband Do His Laundry."

Not So Happily Ever After
This post takes a look at the fairy tale that women sometimes expect in a marriage and what happens when reality sets in. Jonna writes,
"I don't recall the Prince missing dinners because he was working over time or going to bed shortly after he came home to his Palace because he was so exhausted."
For her early 20s, Jonna is quite mature in her thoughts on marriage.
A Common Paradox
With her husband working full time, and often late hours, she begins to feel resentment towards him. Jonna no longer felt like her husband's priority. She admits to becoming irrational about his work schedule.
"If he doesn't work late, we won't get the new furniture set that I HAVE to have. If he does work late, he comes home to a nagging wife who is desperate for his attention. I am so selfish in our marriage and I know that."
Jonna's pondering allows her to try to understand the paradox in her thinking, it can often be difficult to admit thoughts like this.
What's A Wife To Do
However, Jonna also has what she calls "AH HA" moments of clarity. One in particular stuck with her on an ordinary Wednesday night. Her husband was, once again, working late while she was at home with their young daughter. Jonna was thinking to herself "Boy, is he going to hear it from me when he gets home!"
Folding For Clarity
She did what many women do when they're angry, she began to clean. She started on the laundry and dumped the pile of clean clothing out on the table. As she was folding she realized that her clothes were all bright and clean while her husband's were dingy, full of tears and holes.
“Instead of being grateful that I have an amazing husband who takes amazing care of me and our daughter, I wait for him to come home to pick a fight. I get spoiled with the fruits of his labor and he is okay with a pair of torn boxer briefs.”
Jonna was then overwhelmed with emotion and felt a sense of guilt.

An Emotional Conclusion
She realizes how grateful she is for all of the sacrifices her husband makes. He is not just a husband, but a hard worker, a father and a provider.
"This man provides more than I deserve. If I tell him I want something, very seldom will he tell me no."
Jonna realizes that she needs to start appreciating the sacrifices her husband makes for their family.
Striving For Greatness
She knows it can be all too easy to get mad at the ones we love the most.
"He works so his wife and daughter don't go without, even though there are times I'm sure he does."
Jonna vows to work on being a better wife and remember that his time away is out of necessity, not need.
Family Comes First
Every marriage has the potential to be great! Some times we need a reminder about sacrifice and love. Always remember to appreciate your spouse and don't forget to fold his laundry.
