Fudge is an all-time favorite treat of the holiday season. Now you can make yours even more festive with this yummy twist on the traditional recipe, brought to us by Todd's Kitchen.
Who doesn't love sipping a nice cup of eggnog during a holiday event? Well, it's time to kick it up a notch by combining the flavor of this drink with another delicious goody of the season, fudge! What you'll need to get started: 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 3/4 cup eggnog, 150 g. white chocolate, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1 jar marshmallow creme, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Begin by bringing your stove to a medium-high heat. Then, melt your butter in a pot. Add your sugar and eggnog, and turn it up to a boil. Once it reaches a temperature of 230 degrees F., pour it into a mixing bowl.
Next, add in your white chocolate and beat with a mixer. Then, measure in the vanilla and nutmeg. Lastly, place your marshmallow creme inside of the bowl. Mix it up until everything is combined. Line a baking pan with non-stick paper and pour the batter inside. Now, place it in the fridge for several hours. Once it's hardened, cut into squares. Since it's a soft-fudge, keep it refrigerated until ready to serve. Wow, what an incredible way to combine two delicious holiday treats into one!
