Girl Has Faith In Her Horse

Breana Carsey, at just 11 years old, had wanted a horse for as long as her parents can remember. Finally her father gave in, but her foal, MJB Got Faith, was a runt. She dreamed of her horse becoming a racing champion, so her father thought once he explained that this was not possible, she would give in and let him sell the horse.
MJB Got Faith was named after the initials of the children in Breana's family and the faith she had in him. Breana didn't want to give him up, so her parents decided to put him in the races since they had spent so much money on him already. At first MJB Got Faith was so slow he barely qualified to compete, and yet somehow he won his first race. After that he won three more races and was able to enter into the state championship.
A horse who no one would have expected to get this far except for one little girl who loved him ended up winning the state championship. Breana won $100,000 and donated half to charity, planning to use the other half as a down payment on a farm. That way, she will be able to see the horse she always had faith in, every day.
