Girl Learns To Say Spaghetti
FaithTap Staff 10/16/2015
Everyone has had trouble at some point in their lives with trying to pronounce a word or two. Ella, at only four years old, is no exception.
With a smile Ella begins to say "spaghetti" but only manages a syllable before she stops. She frowns in concentration, having forgotten how to say it. Smiling again, she asks her mom to repeat it. "Spaghetti", her mom says, "Skabetti!" Ella says. Try as she might, she just can't seem to repeat it the way her mom says it. Her mom has her break the word into two, "spa" and "ghetti", and Ella is able to accomplish saying them one after the other, but only separately. When asked to say it together, in one word, it's still tough. Giggling, she tries again and again, but can't quite seem to manage. At the very end, Ella finally is able to say the whole word smoothly, and her mother is proud. What a great example of perseverance this little girl is.
