How To Make Scrumptious Upside Down Pineapple Pancakes

With a new twist for pineapple rings, Chef Michael will have your mouth watering to try this fun recipe. He starts with fresh pineapple and cuts them in rings. He adds 4 ounces of brown sugar and 4 ounces of butter and cooking them over the stove until caramelized.
Next, he begins the pancake mix for the fresh idea of pineapple upside down pancakes. He begins with 2 ½ cups of cake flour, and adds 2 tablespoons of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of baking soda, ¼ teaspoon of. salt. Next he mixes the wet ingredients with 2 ½ cups of milk, ½ cup sugar, and ¼ Ts. of vanilla extract. He then combines the wet and dry ingredients and adds ¼ cup of melted butter. After mixing he adds about ½ cup of batter to the heated griddle. Then adds a pineapple ring with a cherry in the middle. Once one side is cooked, he flips to finish cooking. The result is a delicious fluffy upside down pineapple pancake that is sure to become a breakfast – or any time of the day – favorite.
