Pregnant Waitress Feels Her Heart Drop As She Takes 1 Look At Note Left For Her About God
'Tis the season to remember why we celebrate it to begin with. It's not about shopping for presents, spending money, and eating tons of delicious food, the reason for the season is something entirely different.
We tend to forget this at the end of each year, but then are reminded again when we hear about stories of random acts of kindness being performed between complete strangers. For one woman, she knows what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a stranger's kindness.
Sarah Clark, a bartender at Pita Jungle located in Phoenix, Arizona, has been working extra hard over the past few months. After all, she has to, because Sarah has a little bundle of joy that will be arriving fairly soon. She is expecting her first child, and is doing everything she can to try and prepare financially for the arrival.
Her fiancé works in the restaurant industry as well, which like everyone knows, isn't always the most lucrative--especially when wanting to start a family. Both have been doing everything they can to try and prepare. They can only work so many hours however. Also, Sarah's fiancé will be having leg surgery around the time their baby arrives. This means both will be out of work for a few months.
One day while Sarah Clark was at work, a customer changed her pregnancy--all with a hand-written note. The customer, another pregnant woman, had a bill come out to $61.30. Yet, when Sarah collected the bill, she noticed what the pregnant customer listed as her tip. Her financial hardships just got a whole lot easier.
The customer left Sarah a $900 tip! On top of that, she wrote a note that left Sarah in tears. The note read:
"This is God's money--He gave it to us so we could give it to you. God bless."
Sarah and the pregnant customer spoke quite a bit while Sarah was serving her. You could say they had a lot in common, and bonded while conversing about their pregnancies. It was nice for Sarah to speak with another woman who was also pregnant, while on the job.
Sarah stressed how much the tip meant to her, especially with everything she has going on in her life. She shared:
"I don't know if she really understands how much this is going to help us this season. Me being on maternity leave and him being out of work, we're not going to making any income. So this is really going to help with rent and other bills and things like that."
This beautiful story is a gentle reminder of how God works through each of us to try and help others.

Sometimes you might get a need or desire to want to help someone, in a similar way like this customer helped Sarah. When you feel that strong push to do something good, don't deny it, as God is trying to help others through you.
