Mom Didn't Think She Had Time To Cook A Delicious Italian Meal, Until She Tried THIS Recipe

Is there anything more comforting than a big, cheesy bowl of baked ziti? Get all of the comfort without the fuss with this too-easy recipe, and you don't even need an oven!
First, mix two eggs in a bowl until combined but not frothy. This will act as a binding agent for the rest of the ingredients.
Then, add 15 ounces ricotta cheese into the eggs and blend until combined.
'Tis The Seasoning
Next, add your seasonings. You'll need 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 tablespoon rosemary and salt and pepper to taste. Mix it all around to create your delectable ricotta blend! This will act as the foundation of your ziti.
Next, add 2 cups of store-bought or homemade marinara in the bottom of your slow cooker. This is your first layer of deliciousness.
Then, add 1/3 of a 1 pound package of dried penne pasta as the second layer.
Add half of your ricotta mix and spread across the top in an even layer. (Are you starting to drool yet?)
Put a thin layer of Italian cheese blend across the layers, because who doesn't love that stretchy cheesy effect?
Do the entire layering process again, starting with 1/3 of your penne, then the remaining ricotta and 1 cup Italian cheese. Add the final 1/3 of your penne pasta, then finalize it all with a 2 cup dose of marinara.
Set slow cooker to high and let the mixture cook for 3 to 4 hours. During the last 30 minutes of the cooking process, add a coat of Italian cheese to finalize your dish. Put the top back on watch the cheese melt.
When the cheese is melted, it's time to serve that tasty pasta up to the family. And oh my, it's so worth the wait!
