There is nothing more precious than the gift of a child. And for California residents, Chris and Lori Coble, they were grateful to have been presented with three. Their oldest was a boy named Kyle, followed by their daughter Emma, and then their final blessing - a baby girl named Katie.
One afternoon, Lori and her mother piled the three children into her van to go to the mall, and also to ride a Ferris wheel. It was when they were driving home from their outing that the unthinkable happened. A speeding semi-truck carrying 40,000 lbs. of cargo, slammed into their vehicle from behind...
Lori, her mother, and the kids were all rushed to three separate hospitals. It was there that Chris and Lori received the devastating news. Their 2-year-old daughter Katie and their 4-year-old daughter Emma had passed away...and just a short time later, so did their 5-year-old son Kyle.
Just six months after the accident, the couple received more life-changing news. After having an in vitro fertilization procedure, Lori became pregnant with triplets. The couple was overjoyed, especially when they found out that they would be having two girls and a boy. They took it as a sign from up above.
Chris and Lori are once again the proud parents of three beautiful children, Ashley, Ellie, and Jake. With no doubt, the couple feel strongly that their children in Heaven played a part in the creation of their siblings. After all, it was truly a miracle that they had been given.
Not a day goes by that Chris and Lori don't think about their first-born children. And while they will never be replaced, because of their triplets, the couple once again have love and happiness back in their lives.
