He Was Rescued, But It's His Surprising Reaction Towards Animals That Keeps Him In A Shelter

Many believe that animals are simply incapable of displaying, feeling, and experiencing the same emotions humans do. However, we often hear stories that prove otherwise, meet Radamenes.
Down, but not out
Radamenes was brought to an animal shelter in Bydgoszcz, Poland fighting for his life. He was suffering with a critical respiratory infection which the shelter feared would take his life. After intense treatment and a whole lot of love, Radamenes made a miraculous recovery.
Paying it forward
This little miracle has chosen to use his near-death experience as a reminder of what really matters in life. Radamenes spreads love to those around him each and every day.
Working for free
Radamenes works as a volunteer at the animal shelter that saved his life. He dedicates his time to nursing others back to health for no compensation at all! He simply receives room and board, and is rewarded with the wonderful feeling he experiences when helping the sick and needy.
The "purr"fect medicine
This selfless kitty spends his days caring for animals recovering from serious operations. He sits patiently nestled up against them, providing the hurt animals with the medicinal, soft vibrations of his purring.
In it for the long haul
Cats are known for being incredibly loyal animals. Radamenes stays by the side of his injured companions throughout their recovery. Now that's a true friend!
A healing hand...or paw!
Studies have consistently shown the healing power of touch. Simply feeling the closeness of another person or animal creates calmness and settles anxiety.
The need for love
It has been said that cats show affection when they want it, and give it when they sense it's needed. Radamenes sees that his friends are sick, hurt, and in need of love.
Radamenes is extremely generous with the amount of hugs, licks, and cuddles he gives out to his friends in recovery. And yes, he really does "hug!"
Giving...simply to give
It's been said that we have more to learn from animals than animals have to learn from us. Radamenes gives love freely, with no expectations of receiving anything in return. He simply wants to better the lives of those around him, and that he does!
A spoonful of...love
A wise physician once said, "The best medicine for humans is love." Someone then asked, "What if it doesn't work?" He smiled and answered, "Increase the dose."
Maybe the same goes for animals. Maybe they really do have something to teach us. Share this story, and spread a bit of love to the people in your life!
