Start off with just the basics: cream cheese and sugar. Create a nice fluffy pile of sweetness with a few quick pulses using a hand blender or spoon.

Spoon the cheesecake mixture into the apple until it's about two thirds of the way full. Bake for 25-30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Since it still resembles an apple, we'll pretend it's still healthy!

If you thought the stuffing was good, wait until you see the whipped cream topping. In a small pot, whisk together a cup of heavy whipping cream and 3/4 cup of maple syrup. Slowly bring to a simmer until it starts to bubble and the mixture sticks to a spoon.
