If you are looking for a new holiday recipe, these ideas will surely impress with a fragrant ingredient that may not seem very common during fall. Yet, this edible herb proves it can be added to any season.
A holiday brunch or lunch needs a refreshing drink! You can make lavender lemonade with dried lavender and/or 1 drop of lavender essential oil, 1 cup of raw honey, 6 lemons juiced, and 12 cups of water.
This could be the perfect accompaniment for a quiche! You just need to add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 1/2 tablespoon of dried lavender, and a dash of salt and pepper to 4 large, chopped potatoes and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
What goes into this flavorful spice? A lot, including lavender! Add equal amounts of sea salt, marjoram, sage, thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary, summer savory, and dried lavender buds to a food processor and blend. Place this mixture in a glass jar for the perfect gift!
