They Brought The Dog To Their Photoshoot, But They Never Expected THIS To Happen . . .
Like many engaged couples, Megan Determan and Chris Kluthe decided to commemorate their engagement with a photo shoot. Then things went to the dogs...
Somebody Is Up To Something
The photos, which show the couple basking in their love under an autumn sky, got a little surprise, thanks to their pup Louie.
Things Started Out Innocently Enough
The affectionate, glowing Minnesota couple took the standard engagement photos with loving looks, hand holding and cute kisses, but they wanted to include their love for Louie, too. Canine kisses were in order.
Then They Brought In Louie
Their dachshund fur baby is used to the attention of his owners. He was bored just waiting on the sidelines, so they included him in the photos.
And He Stole The Show
A well-behaved Louie was at the forefront of the couple’s first few photos, but the fun of crisp autumn leaves was just too much for him to bear.
The photographer, Karin Berdal of DnK Photography, seized the moment and captured Louie in his excited element, as she told local CBS affiliate WCCO.
“Usually, if someone’s face was blocked out, we wouldn’t deliver a picture. This one is obviously ‘the Louie picture’, is a special case.”
Clearly blissfully unaware of the importance of the photo shoot taking place around him, Louie took this opportunity to get his fill of the crunchy delight of fall’s turning leaves.
But The Couple Was Happy To Share The Limelight
Famous for his “alpha” sensibility around the house, the moment did not shock bride-to-be Megan in the least, she told WCCO.
“I feel like Louie’s always just kinda like that. Anytime I go to touch Chris, he’s like, no, I want to be pet.”
We can tell he is not shy, good thing, because now he is famous...
He's A Star!
It has been an engagement celebration far beyond anything the couple had in mind, but now the world will celebrate their upcoming December nuptials alongside them. (And, of course, little Louie.)
A Family's Best Friend
Anyone with a canine companion can tell you just how entertaining their goofy presence can be, and now this lucky Minnesota couple has all of Louie's quirks and charms on film forever.
