Mom Was Frantic When Her Baby Screamed On The Plane – But THIS Woman Put Her In Tears
by FaithTap Staff 10/25/2015
When little Rylee started crying during takeoff of a long flight, her mother noticed every other passenger seemed annoyed. That was except for the amazing woman sitting beside her.
Cutest baby ever!
Despite her obvious cuteness, Rylee's screams were deafening and her young mother Rebekka was worried her aisle mate was going to be very annoyed. But something much different happened. I mean, who wouldn't just want to love on this adorable face?
Cute but LOUD!
But not all cuteness overrides misery.
Grateful for the help!
In an attempt to calm the upset Rylee, Nyfesha offered to take the baby off Rebekka's hands for a moment. Shocked at the kind gesture, Rebekka happily agreed and handed Rylee over.
An instant friendship
The incredible interaction was featured on Inside Edition in the video below (the video may not be viewable on some mobile web browsers):
Who is this?
Nyfesha's incredible personality and motherly instincts kicked in. Rylee stopped crying and her eyes widened as she took in a fascinating new new person. Rylee was captivated by Nyfesha and was soon smiling.
Finally, some much needed rest
The happy pair made faces, looked out the window, cuddled and then exhausted little Rylee took a nap in her arms. Rebekka took the advantage of the quiet moment to snap a picture of her daughter and her new friend. Rebekka included the sweet shot in a post on Facebook.
Something amazing happened to me today and I will never be able to express how grateful I am for it. If anyone has ever...

She's been there herself
A mother herself, Nyfesha sensed how stressed Rebekka was while traveling. Rebekka explained on Facebook,
"She kept saying it wasn't a problem at all and it was actually a comforting feeling for her. She even carried her off the plane and held her so I could get the stroller and carseat put back together so I wasn't struggling to try and do it all alone."
The two Mom's have since become Facebook friends and keep in touch online.
Kindness and understanding when she needed it most
Rebekka gives thanks to Nyfesha:
"You could've just rolled your eyes and been irritated like everyone else, but you took her and held her the entire flight and let me get some rest and peace of mind. It brought tears to my eyes while I sat there and watched you and Rylee sleeping next to me."
It's amazing how a chance encounter can make a trying day into a memorable one.
It was her first flight
Nyfesha was a Godsend for Rebekka and Rylee, who was on the way to surprise her husband and Rylee's father, Nick Garvison. Nick is a firefighter for the United States Army who travels extensively. The new Dad rarely gets to see his wife and little girl, since traveling alone with an infant is so difficult.
Humanity and understanding from one mother to another
Nyfesha gave the young family a gift that was much more than a short break from a crying baby. She gave them, and the rest of us, hope that there is still goodness and kindness in the world. You just need to be willing to accept the blessing.
