While twinkling lights are mostly seen during the holidays, it doesn't mean they can't be used all year long. Update and enhance the look of a string of lights for added warmth and glow any time of year!
Dixie cups never looked so good with this string of lights. This is a fun add-on to a backyard party, bridal shower, or outdoor wedding reception. You may even want to use it as a night light in a child's room.
This is a fun decoration for a child's room or game room. You'll just need multicolored or white string lights and ping pong balls to cover each bulb. Take an Exacto knife or other tool to puncture a small hole into each ping pong ball, then place over each bulb.
This is a great way to add some shape to a string of white lights. You'll need several sheets of white craft foam, an exacto knife, globe string lights, and a surface for cutting. Cut star shapes out of the white craft foam and add a small square hole to the center of each star. Slide the end of a bulb through the square center and screw back into the cord.
Here's another great idea using Dixie cups to make individual lanterns for each light. You will need string lights, plastic Dixie cups, jute twine, scissors, and a hot glue gun. See how to make this here.
